TAO of MIND

The above link leads to a fight scene from the movie HERO:

An IMAGINARY DUEL transpires (IN THE MINDS) of two epic warriors- Nameless (Jet Li) and Sky (Donnie Yen). The backdrop takes place in the CHESS COURTYARD, while an Old Blind Man PLUCKS AWAY on his stringed Guqin (an instrument played since ancient times, and has traditionally been favored by scholars and literati). With RAIN dramatically falling in slow motion, both fighters either anticipate the other’s acrobatic movements or stoically stand still (EYES CLOSED) during a melancholy soundtrack. Behind the HOWLING, breathtaking choreography, and the Poetry of Battle- one gleans a ZEN-LIKE philosophy & WAY OF LIFE:

Win FIRST- Fight LATER!

“The greatest of archer’s aim at their target- BEFORE they see it!” -Quote from Ethoas (Lever in your Mind)

P.S. “Win FIRST- Fight LATER!”

Truly, this statement is a KOAN, a paradoxical anecdote or riddle, used in Zen Buddhism to demonstrate the inadequacy of logical reasoning and to provoke enlightenment. It enables you- to act like you’ve been there before…when you HAVEN’T!

B.P.S. To anyone who can embrace this UNDERSTANDING- Here’s to a new TAO OF MIND! …from the Lookout Post.
